Madrid, 20 March 2011. La Tagliatella, the leading restaurant chain specialising in high quality Italian food, has just presented its new menu, which includes proposals aimed at satisfying the most discerning palates.
All the categories in the menu have been revamped with new dishes, some of which are:
• Scallop salad, a delicious variety of scallops, king prawns, artichokes, tomato confit, toasted corn and pierina, with an optional ‘pomodoro caramelizado’ dressing.
• Antipasti: Carpaccio di bacalao (served on a bed of preserved tomato, black olive oil and pistaccios), and tominata (with tomino cheese, Tuscan bacon, tomato and onion confit, artichokes and dried fruit and nuts).
• New Pane della Tagliatella with tomatoes.
• Gratinati: includes Lasagna La Tagliatella, with homemade sausage, caramelised onion and dried fruit and nuts.
• New sauces: Foie and Mushrooms, Tartufo al Parmigiano (with black truffle, Parmesan cheese and fried egg) and Magret Tartufina (made with black truffle and duck magret), ideal to go with any kind of pasta, such as the new Casalinga Reginette.
• New pizzas: Tomino (with tomino cheese, dried fruit and nuts, and caramelized apple), Brindisina (with cod, dried fruit and nuts, and black olive oil) and Pancetta (with tomino cheese and Tuscan bacon)
• As for desserts: Mini-pannacotta and Cioccofondente, mascarpone cream with melted chocolate, sponge and crispy chocolate.
