Grana Padano D.O.P.
Aged, hard cheese made from cow's milk. Manufactured in large, cylindrical wheels. It has a grainy texture, deep aroma and very sharp flavor. Grana Padano is considered an excellent cheese, making it particularly suitable for many dishes, including salads and pastas.
The Cistercian monks of Chiaravalle created this product in the 12th century. Even today, this Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) product is produced in the northwestern part of the Po Valley.
